Held in February each year, this is a big event in Westport. People come from all over the country, even other parts of the world to take part in this challenge.

Teams of four run 10km each or for the more fit 21km (half marathon) and for the super fit or determined the full 42km. This starts in the scenic Buller Gorge and heads in to town. Every one gets involved, school and youth teams get out and help with set up, drinks, and clean up and the local businesses including Habitat Sports donate spot prizes.
